It's the dogs natural reaction not something you can change but he still hates them for it. Peanut has a lot of "personality" and after years of her doing the same things he still hasn't accepted them. If I can get use to his "personality" and not change his basic make up why can't he do the same for the dog :-) Great blog piece!! It's great advice to apply to both humans and animals. He hates crowds and isn't very good in public places where he doesn't know everyone. But, his integrity and honesty is unrivaled. He's professionally successful, is a great father and, I assume, a good husband. He's the kind of friend who will be there when you need him - no matter what. So, should I "get rid of him" because he doesn't want to go to concerts or sporting events with me??? Reminds me of a friend.
