This tract focuses on the use of fun and dog games to improve obedience, communications, health and the overall bond between the pet parent and dog. Classes within this tract require a solid obedience foundation and include agility, rally, scent work, shaping, tricks, etc…

APDT Rally

APDT Rally is the new dog sport that is taking the nation by storm. A GREAT stepping stone from AKC Canine Good Citizen Program to the world of obedience and agility, Rally offers dogs and handlers an experience that is both fun and energizing.

Students must have completed a basic obedience class.

Canine Cross Training

Want to get fit and train your dog at the same time. Join our personal cross training exercise and dog training class focused on personal fitness, building the bond with your dog and improving obedience and behavior.

Chutes & Ladders I & II

Designed to introduce you and your dog to the fun world of agility including chutes, A frame, tire jump, etc… Chutes and Ladders requires basic off-leash obedience. This class is JUST FOR FUN and is not a preparation for competition agility.

Students must have completed a basic obedience class and receive K-9 Coach instructor approval.

Introduction to Nose Work I

A new, fast growing sport that utilizes dog’s natural instincts to find hidden scents. GREAT for teaching your dog to work as a team with the handler, focusing drive and improving overall life skills. This fun, exciting class will begin in a basic pattern and work toward detection scents.

We guarantee a good time for all and a worn out dog!

Introduction to Nose Work II

Requires completion of Intro. to Nose Work I. Focus on interior and exterior searches in multiple locations around our facility. Prepare for odor. Once registered, all additional information will be sent.

Introduction to Odor

Requires completion of Intro. to Nose Work I & II. Introduce dog to odor on all four elements: interior, exterior, vehicle and container searches. Once registered, all additional information will be sent.

Play to Win

This fun class leverages your dog’s predisposition to play as a tool to develop desired behaviors. For example, if you play “watch” with your dog, that will improve off-leash recall.

Outdoor Adventures

This exciting new class focuses on the benefits of exercising with your dog and is designed to provide training in real life situations with real life distractions.

We meet at various locations throughout the city including Chastain Park, the Chattahoochee River Preserve, the Polo Fields and others.

Students must be able to walk at least 3 miles and must have completed a basic obedience class and receive K-9 Coach instructor approval. Workout clothing and tennis / athletic shoes are required (for you but not the dog).

This Click is for Tricks

This class will build the bond with your dog as you learn to guide and motivate in a fun way. Trick class offers a great way to interact with your dog and teach alternate behaviors. Teach your dog how to learn. Some examples of tricks we will work on are speak, crawl, roll over, jump, beg, shake, spin, pray and more.
